Fairview condos, townhomes and 1/2 duplexes with great city, water or mountain views are popular today. New luxury condos are being built in Fairview. Way back in 1889, Fairview Slopes was made possible by the opening of the Granville Street bridge and the Cambie Street Bridge in 1891. The Fairview Beltline streetcar service heralded the beginning of housing construction on Fairview slopes for people who worked at the saw mills of False Creek at the turn of the last century.
